Friday, March 12, 2010 through Saturday, March 13, 2010. 7:30 pm. The first half of the concert will feature young talented soloists, winners of the Rising Star Concerto Competition. The second half will perform Scheherazade, one of the most famous exotic orchestral works by Rimsky-Korsakov. Based on the book of "One Thousand and One Nights", The Sultan Schariar vowed to put to death each of his wives. Represented by the beautiful solo violin, Sultana saved her life by entertaining her lord with fascinating tales for a thousand and one nights. $19.00-$35.00+tax.
