I love being with people, my friends are my life, my shelter. I would be lost with out them. I love art, photography, and music, I try to do all three whenever possible. I am a busy, single mother of two, who works full-time and is going to school. I am looking for someone to spend time with. Most of my free time is currently spent watching TV and movies, when I'm not out with my friends.

I dont know what else to say. I am a huge procrastinater, especially when it comes to my schoolwork, but in my defense, time is always a concern since i have other responsibilities to worry about. Another reason could be that I dont want to look back on all the time i spent studying as time that could have been spent with my kids, I want to know that i didn't miss anything or have any regrets.

So without regret, I have finally finished school. I have now spent the better portion of a decade attending school and can now declare that I have a degree that is totally and completely unusable. That means I need to get another degree are you kidding me? Thats exactly what I didn't want. So what now I guess looking into grad programs while looking for a new job since I now have to payback all my student loans and starting the search for my first home. Why not?

well, lets see... I think I should start by saying that I'm the father of 2 amazing children! They are the biggest part of, and most important thing in my life! Please don't let that give you the wrong idea, I will still have plenty of time for just us, but of course I will want us to spend alot of time with them also! My daughter is 4 almost 5, and my little boy just turned 2. They are with me part time (as close as possible to 50/50). I recently got out of a long term relationship (almost 7 years!) with my children's mom. Found out she had been cheating on me with a guy I'd been best friends with since I was a kid... I'm a very unique person, and like a little bit of everything! and am always open to trying new things! I really want to experience as much as I can in this lifetime, and want my kids to be able to also!!! I enjoy being a handy man around the house, and for friends when they need. I love woodworking, carpentry, building and fixing anything, and being creative in every way possible! I used to LOVE to draw, and it has always been a really big part of who I am, but some where along the way I lost the ability to clear my mind and relax so I could draw the way I loved, but since I've become single, I've had more time to try and get back into it. I am also learning how to play the guitar, but the guy thats teaching me works the graveyard shift, so we hardly get the chance to get together and play. as far as work goes, I co-owned a construction company for about 2 years, until I injured my back. I ended up having to sell my half of the company to my business partner, and had to take some time off because of the injury. Since then I've been trying to find something full time, but I swear it's damn near impossible lately! I do have a part time job delivering pizza's for now, and I gotta say its not bad at all! But obviously I don't make as much as I need to only working part time there. After everything I've went through recently with the break up and everything else thats happened, its helped me to finally figure out what I want to do with my life, I want to become a social worker! Its always felt very gratifying to me to be able to help people, even when its just the little things. I love anything to do with the outdoors! I also love animals, and have owned way more than I could ever mention! everything from exotic birds to reptiles that I'm sure most have never heard of! although I gave up most of them when my daughter was born. just not enough time for them after Lily was born. ok, if you've even made it this far, I'm sure that you agree I've written more than enough!!! :) I'm open to talking and getting to know everyone, and promise I never judge a book by its cover, so don't be shy!

Currently I live in Onalaska, Wisconsin. I have been here for almost 2 years, working in the career that I went to college for.

I graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a major in Mathematics and minors in Accounting and Finance (it would be a shame if you assumed I am a geek and quit reading). After that I became a technical college instructor for a semester while I tried to find a job. Successfully I got one, and that is why I am here.

The last couple years have been spent really focusing on my career. I am very happy where I am at with that, and I think it is time to really start focusing on the relationship aspect of my life.

I have twin girls, they're 11 years old and live with me full time. I work as a resident care assistant at an assisted living facility with dementia residents and I absolutely love my job. I'd like to think I am an extraordinarily ordinary person. I am fairly smart but mostly smart-ass. I'm silly, and quirky, and probably an acquired taste. I try to be easygoing, I'm not the jealous type or the bitchy type. I am kind to a fault. I have trouble acting normal when I'm nervous. I am really very shy but you would never guess that because I overcompensate for it by being outgoing and pretty forward most of the time. I am all kinds of inappropriate if you get me going.

Sure I like the whole socializing dance, I like to hit the bar, go out to eat, to a movie, bowling, whatever, but moreso I love a low expectation type of evening. I like to take walks in the rain. I'm a bit of a dork, I really like sitting around playing scrabble, or whatever, Sitting around in our pj's watching movies. I like nothing better than to lay awake in the middle of the night and talk about nothing.

I dont like things that are black and white. I live for the grey areas in life. I love the feeling of being in between- the happy place when youre half asleep but not awake, the fuzzy place right before you have one too many drinks and get wasted, and in relationships, I love the exciting place that comes after you get over the preliminary (getting to know eachother) nonsense but before the "comfortable" place sets in. when everything is still new and exciting.

Which brings me to what I'm looking for. I am looking for someone who is looking for someone. I am looking for someone who I can talk to about anything, or about nothing. I am looking for someone who does not need to be entertained constantly, who enjoys the simple things. Im a little more on the shy end. I like deer hunting it's all right and I love archery. I have 4 good friends but I moved away from two of them in October of 2008 and barly keep in touch. I know a lot about computers and that will always be my career. Faith and values is the most important aspect of life to me. Knowing God is to know love because God is love. I have a very soft side to me but on the other hand I am not afraid to defend what I believe in and what I think is right. I am very stubborn which I consider a good quality the majority of the time. I think people who easily submit to the thinking of others without first consulting their values, morals, and ability to reason are drones. Hello everyone in La Crosse. I have recently moved up to La Crosse from Saint louis. Always looking to expand horizons and meet some new people, so I'm up for pretty much anything.

I'm not much to talk about myself but I'll add in what I can here. I currently work out on a regular basis (Anywhere from two to five times a week). I am also a martial arts buff and like to practice them whenever possible (although the conditioning for it is quite brutal).

Self-Summary, hmm? I've always hated writing about myself, because i never quite know how to say what i'm thinking, and it usually comes out egotistical or like i'm selling myself short. Let's just say that i have high standards, but they are attainable, and i've got a slightly cynical attitude toward humanity in general. I need to be able to have a conversation with you, to be able to use words like 'euphoric' and 'supercilious' without batting an eye. One of the basic tests i've found to let me know if conversation on a deeper level than small-talk is in your future is how you read aloud. If reading aloud is easy and fluid, then conversation should be able to include words over three letters long.

Oh wait, i've gone off-topic, as this is a *self* summary. Well, in that vein i own two cats myself and two with my boyfriend (one of whom, as i write this, is busy knocking things off my bookshelf, another of whom is kneading a fleece blanket by my feet, and two others of whom are watching the bookcase spectacle...), and we foster cats for a rescue shelter. Thus, there can be up to eight or so cats in our apartment at one time, from birth to seniority. I especially like tiny baby kittens, and have bottle-fed multiple foster kittens.

I consider myself a geek, have since high school. I'm not nearly as intelligent as my high school friends, and never got into computers and such, which i regret, since i loved taking computer science in college. Instead i majored in philosophy. I love to game and watch sci-fi movies... Zombie movies, X-men, and things like Kino's Journey and Invader Zim.

I also love children. I work at a daycare, and my favorite age group is birth to two. Infants are my absolute preference.

What else? I'm sure i'll think of something else crucial as soon as i save this. Ah well, here's this for now.

I believe this quote sums me up because I take a stand upon it in who I think I am. I am not only a Christian but a dedicated disciple of Christ, one who is loved by God. I am definitely not perfect but I am growing more and more every day with the Lord. This is the center of who I am.

Out of this center, I love showing my passion for God through music. I have been singing for awhile, but since I became a Christian I have been using it for His glory through leading others in worship of God. I have been playing guitar for about 6 years and I love playing it. I love to sing in choirs, gospel or not, and I love playing live music with others. Where to begin, I'm a pretty laid back easy going guy. I enjoy going to movies or sporting events love the packers and minnesota wild but never get a chance to go to a game. I'm here just looking to see whats out there and maybe find some one I can relate to.

I... *ponders* am a very introverted person, but when I feel more comfortable around people I tend to warm up a bit. Right now I am going to school for engineering, although in highschool I was torn between engineering and art as a career. I went with engineering because its easier to do both (art becoming the hobby) that way. I am a big fan of movies and games, and when I have nothing else to do I find myself surfing for news about either of them. I like to be active and go outside but doing that alone I feel is somewhat awkward. My little profile awards seem to be a bit off, where I am less conservative and less aggressive than they say (although I can be pretty competitive at times.) I am not sure who or what I will find on here, but as long as it is positive I will be happy I found it.

I'm 5'11" 195, athletic physique, blue eyes, shaved head, I'm very social but i also go to great lengths to get some solitude once in awhile. I'm very intelligent, I don't open up verbally with someone unless they've earned my trust, which isn't too hard because I'm a good judge of character and I believe most people are inherently good, and I'm usually quick to pick up on that unless I've sniffed out something to the contrary. I pay much more attention to non-verbal communication in social interactions than verbal, which admittedly gets me into trouble sometimes for not listening... It's the slight ADD I think:) -and it doesn't mean I'm not interested in what you're saying! I've been told I'm attractive at times but I guess a preference for shaved heads might be a prereq.
I enjoy fishing, boating, camping, Ice fishing WITH HEATER OF COURSE, scary movies, just about any tv on a rainy day, cycling, mushroom hunting in the spring, family get togethers, a good cup of iced coffee in the morning, dressing up and going out w/friends or that potential significant other, talking about, listening to, or tuning in to any subject or program having anything to do with the sciences. I'm kind of a science geek. I was a very competitive athlete growing up and It's carried over into my adult life. I've competed in many pool tournaments as well as Foosball, I also love to play poker(not for real money necessarily), euchre is in my blood, I don't like to read but I do enjoy writing, I play guitar, love a good game of chess, super-cold beer on a Friday night, spooning under a heavy quilt, packer games, volunteering, and learning new things

I am so interested in a ton of things but what I like best are animals. I love them all and I have too many. The dancing that catches your emotion it's not just dancing, you can feel it in your stomach. I don't like slutty dancing. I just got over a 5 year relationship with someone who was also my best friend so its been rather difficult getting over not having someone to tell everything to.
Life is to short and I would like to meet someone else who can make me happy and who I can make happy. I have a lot of compassion and I care for all things living. I love pets but I cant get one in my place which would help for the company. My first time living alone in awhile and its been hard to get used to. Spiritually, I follow an eclectic pagan path and have done so for 10 years. I see my spirituality as who I am, not just what I do. I honor and respect all faiths and life paths (religious or not) as sacred though my own path is heavily focused on personal growth and finding the divine within all things.

I am a little geeky and a bit goth in my interests which include reading, journaling or prose and poetry writing. I also enjoy a good game of Magic the Gathering because I find it to be very strategically stimulating. My inner actress is fed by Vampire the Masquerade table top role playing and sometimes D&D though I enjoy VTM more. My job is very demanding, I work my normal hours and on call. You might wonder why someone would need to be on call, well you'll understand when your furnace goes out during the middle of the winter. some things i enjoy are.... books, movies, photography, music, bars, super-mega pulp orange juice, crocheting, trivia, naps, laughing until my eyes water, ruben sandwiches, bicycles, phrases no one uses like "hold the phone!", the brewers, food, board games, cooking, sarcasm, pez, loud music in the car so i can sing along, spices, the office, gyros, and much more.

some things i do not enjoy are holograms, crop circles, missing teeth, clothes you need to iron, ironing, pt cruisers, raisins, nickelback, doing the dishes, white pants, bugs, candy corn, the list goes on.
